After the doctor left, Tira was suspicious about the medicine he gave them. Meanwhile Haro was willing to take the risk. Having to try and heal their fallen comrade is way better than letting him die. Tira was still sceptical about this but wanted to see the chances also, so she fed Takiya the medicine. At first it didn't seem to have any effect at all, but as time passed by, the more the temperature rose. They were worried that the medicine could do the opposite of healing which was decaying. They went about their day. Tira went out to look for food while Haro stayed with Takiya. But then suddenly, Takiya woke up. Haro was surprised and told Takiya not to move yet, but he removed the bandages on him and revealed his healed wounds. Only leaving scars behind. Haro was completely stunned and celebrated his fellow comrade's recovery. Tira returned and was too stunned and also speechless that Takiya is fine and well now. They walked up to him and asked him if he was feeling alive. Takiya didn't respond, he instead asked for his name. Gunimaru Takiya. He didn't recognize that name. Things have turned for the worst. Takiya was no longer Takiya but a different person. His consciousness was exchanged with a different one. So where is Takiya now? Remembering that the doctor mentioned his address made Haro so, so furious. Not only did they meet a terrible guy back there and now another coward that can't even face them head to head? Haro had enough of this mockery and picked up his spears. Tira tried to calm Haro down but he refused and shouted at her for not taking your honour as a comrade and warrior seriously. Tira couldn't even find the words to gather herself. He left the tent they were in and headed out. The fake Takiya witnessed this and asked Tira if she and him were alright. Tira sighed and told him that it was tough recently, and that she just wanted to have her friend back. The place went silent as Tira thought about what to do next. The fake Takiya could only watch this conclusion of the day. Then Tira asked the man to introduce himself and what was going on with the medicine. The man didn't hesitate to agree. The fake Takiya's name was Rin Ginto, another player in the game and was abducted by another player for his experiments. The doctor from earlier was the kidnapper and wanted to mess other players up. Knowing this, Tira asked for Rin's character in the game. Rin was a Mix Martial Artist in real life and her character was Vinid Tarma, a female Martial artist that fit her real persona. But the issue was since she got kidnapped and experimented on, she couldn't break free from the lab and was finally expelled from it via a drug. Which was the medicine. Tira was now informed about this and decided to pack her stuff and leave immediately. Rin asked to join, but Tira gave her one condition. Teach her combat and basic survival skills. Tira wasn't so skilled in both so asking the right person was the opportunity. Rin agreed and headed out to catch up with Haro. Meanwhile the real Takiya just woke up, but tied onto a chair unable to move. Staying calm in this situation, he observed his surroundings. But it's all pitch black. Takiya wondered if it's one of those phycological games that got into this world. The doctor finally revealed himself and claimed that Takiya was correct about his wondering. He lied that he was into doctor games but instead was into those gore heavy games that mess with your brain, and that conscious exchange drug was a . A game freak as you may call it. He wasn't feeling good about this. Seeing and feeling that his body changed could only mean that he exchanged consciousness with somebody else. But he wasn't panicking, instead, he stayed absolutely calm and told the doctor that he is done for. The doctor didn't play along. He didn't think that the muscle head and that woman could stop his experiments at all, not even one but. Takiya took that as a big foul. As Haro is still furiously walking to his destination, Tira and Rin finally caught up with him. Tira told Haro to slow down but he silenced her. Rin witnessing this, she just couldn't stand this argument anymore. So she yelled at Haro for being such a jerk and not listening to his comrades. If he was a warrior, why wouldn't he think logically and stop being so stubborn. Haro heard this and quickly calmed down. She was right, Haro was so into the tunnel vision of saving his friend that he didn't even consider the battles in the way. Tira sat down on the ground and went to sleep, she didn't sleep properly ever since the game started. Rin comforted Tira with a blanket and told Haro to rest too. Too much was happening today. They needed to rest. The next day, they arrived at Gifu. The summer heat wasn't helping their sadness of their friend today. Rin only joined the group last night and couldn't do much for most of the mission. Only preserving Takiya's body was Rin could do. Tira cheered up Rin and also Haro, Haro wasn't feeling good today. But wait a minute, Tira couldn't even do basic combat so how could she possibly help? They have to start training while travelling to the opposite side of Okinawa, to Hokkaido they go. On their way, they encountered some battles. But it's nothing compared to Kazami, not even close. Haro sped through the battles like they were pointless, Tira was just not really into fights for now, and Rin was incredibly good despite being in someone else's body. When the sun sets for the night, Rin begins teaching Tira basic combat skills. The 4 basic punches: Jab, cross, hook, and uppercut. The basic kicks: Roundhouse, middle kick, front, sweep, and high kick. And lastly, individual martial arts: Wing Chun, Taekwondo, Karate, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Jiu-jitsu. That was a lot for Tira, but she tried to remember as best as she could. In the end, she could do basic kickboxing for now. Good enough for tomorrow. The next day's battles were pretty easy, sweeping the mass like it's a sunday. Haro was still on the edge and Tira tried to apply the lessons from last night. It turned out fine today. This night repeated the same cycle. The punches, kicks, and martial arts. Tira remembered more this time. She could finally apply her skills after a week of training, and Haro had refined his spear techniques even further than before. Though Tira couldn't really go up against those with insane abilities like flying or the fast ones. She could dodge but not much in the striking force. And finally they were able to arrive in Niigata. Only 3 more prefectures left and Hokkaido is just around the corner. But something made them stop. A military soldier greeted them and asked for directions to Hokkaido. They answered by saying that they have the same destination. Then he requested to join them in their journey. This guy's skin was awfully loose and his speach felt insincere. Haro became suspicious of this person and finally had enough. Warrior's Heart: Throttle. The soldier's disguise came off, and revealed the doctor. Haro didn't waste a second to launch another throttle. He took the hit and spewed blood everywhere, but the thrust felt too easy. He actually wasn't there, he used another player's body and tried to mess with them for awhile. This guy really is a coward. Haro couldn't take it anymore and began thrusting the man until he looked like a sponge. Blood spewed everywhere like fireworks as Haro yells like a lion. Tira and Rin witnessed this tragedy and couldn't do anything to stop him from attacking. In the end, the doctor already switched back into his original body. Meaning that Haro has killed a player, granting him the first kill of his time in the game. Most players would celebrate, but... Haro... Had enough. He sat down and stared at the corpse in silence, his breathing became louder than his actions and the blood painted on his armor like it was a real scar rather than liquid splatter. Tira asked Haro if he was okay. But he responded without making any eye contact. He told them to go ahead without him, he has destroyed his honour as a warrior. Tira couldn't talk back, she could only follow what he said. But Tira was also worried. She called Rin over and told her to never leave her side. Before they left Haro, Tira said. "Be careful." Haro didn't just want to sit there and do nothing. He was thinking of something.
